National carbon market frameworks, domestic policies, and their key role in implementing Article 6.2

The development of national frameworks for climate protection is progressing rapidly in countries participating in the Article 6 (A6) mechanism under the Paris Agreement. National carbon market frameworks need to be well aligned with domestic policy instruments to provide a basis for effective climate action and private sector participation. The side event aims to discuss the experience of pioneering countries that have already started to operationalize A6.2.
